Master of Information Technology

Programme Information

To qualify for the Master of Information Technology, students must have passed the courses (or the equivalent) listed below. The structure of the diploma is summarised in the following table. The courses and their co-requisites and pre-requisites are listed below. All programmes of study must be approved by the Programme Coordinator.

SEMESTER ONE AND SEMESTER TWO 2015

The three level 8 compulsory courses:

ITPG8.100 Advanced IT Project Management
ITPG8.200 Strategic IT Management (semester 1)
ITPG8.300 Research in Information Technology (semester 2)

The level 9 compulsory course,

MIT9.100 Applied Research Project is offered in both semesters. The courses offered to students include: In addition there are a number of Level 8 supervised courses that will be offered in either semester providing there is sufficient demand.

EIT reserves the right to change timetables. Courses may be offered in different timeslots or cancelled if there is insufficient enrolment. Textbooks are required for several courses and the cost for textbooks is not included in the course fee.
