SPORTING
Waiuku offers a wide range of sports throughout the year. Because of its rural location there are many sports within close proximity that may not be on offer at city schools, such as horse riding and clay shooting. The wild west coast beach of Karioitahi and the Waiuku Estuary offer all the water sports you could ask for.
School Sports: Athletics, swimming, tennis, badminton, rock climbing, cricket, cross country-distance running, football, rugby, hockey, clay bird shooting, equestrian.
Sport facilities at the school include two gymnasiums, all-weather courts, an indoor rock climbing wall and extensive sports fields.
