The Postgraduate Diploma in IT programme at EIT has just about the right mix of IT- technical and IT - management content which makes it ideal for IT professionals irrespective of where they are in their IT career. For me, it was just perfect. Coming from a middle management level in my IT career, the PGDipIT programme at EIT not only further strengthened my technical skills but also helped me to learn management aspects of IT, which will help in my IT career ahead.
Course contents and assignments for all subjects are designed in such a way that they match very closely with real world deliverables expected from IT professionals in IT companies. Highlighting my learnings at EIT in my CV helped to get me shortlisted for job interviews. And with the research mindset developed at EIT, I was able to formulate logical and well reasoned arguments to prove my credentials during job interviews and eventually secure a great job in New Zealand.
